The album was making its rounds in my clique Senior year of high school, an incredibly depressing year. We knew all about the album, and you can totally tell of the isolation within the group, and the 'Let it Be' album tho at times they were shouting at each other, it's easily much more listenable and enjoyable. Abbey Road has a touch of brilliance, eerie (Lennon chorus of 'shoot me'), stupidity, exotic lush, personal anxiety (re: You Never Give Me Your Money), and final ending of something nobody wanted to happen (re: The End), and then it was some short, absurdly strangely ending with some studio tape ditty taped on at the end of the master reel. <br /><br />Your Top 10 album list includes a lot of my favorites (I'll take 'Tommy' over 'Quadrophenia' anyday).Markhttp://www.www.comnoreply@blogger.com
